Kos, the jewel of Aegean, one of the most popular tourist destinations of Greece because of the soft climate, the endless sandy beaches and luxury hotels which are established the last 20 years. Today, the ruins of Asklipieioy are the main archaeological sight of the island.Near Asklipieio we can find today in a enormous region the International Ippokrateio Institution of Kos which is aiming to the medical research and rivalry to doctors around the world.You will be impressed by the plane-tree of Hippocrates, which under its shade , according to the local myth, he taught the most important doctor of antiquity. A bridge connects the point, through ditches and rampants.

	Of all the churches of Kos we could distinguish royal church of Agios Ioannis,Agia Ekaterini, Virgin Mary Syntriani,Agios Antonios, Taxiarches and Virgin Mary Ypapanti, that constituted the old “Abbey of Kastrianon” and had been founded by Osios Christodoylos. In the cities and the villages of the island you can find some luxurious restaurants and end up to little taverns. The traditional Greek cooking and fish taverns dominate, without however that this means that you will not find international restaurants.For your evening entertainment you can go join one of the many of clubs in the island and for a romantic evening, you will find a lot of coastal cafeterias and bars in Palia Poli and the near villages.

	The island has a rich vegetation, running crystal waters and the famous hot mineral water springs “Empros Thermi” in Agios fokas, “Piso Thermi” in Saint Eirini that makes it render pole of attraction for tourists each summertime. The total length of the coastline is 112 km where the white sandy beaches and trees create a paradise landscape

	The island is also a paradise for the yachtsmen and windsurfing board lovers, because of the winds that blow here,combined to the morphology of the sea and the undersea streams offer many good chances for marine sports. Moreover, the island allocates ultramodern Marina that offers everything.
